Happy Tuesday! This is a quick note to let you know that we’re hiring for two roles here at MSA: Commonwealth Corps Program Manager and Program Officer for Volunteer Initiatives. Shout out to Stacey and Chris for being such lovely colleagues over the past five years!
Commonwealth Corps Program Manager / $73k-$81k / HYBRID in Boston
The Commonwealth Corps Program Manager is a member of the program team, responsible for the oversight and management of the Commonwealth Corps program. Each year, approximately 30 Commonwealth Corps members from diverse backgrounds serve with approximately 12-16 host site organizations across Massachusetts.
Primary responsibilities of the position include overall program implementation, member and host site management and support, training for members and host sites, and supervision of the Commonwealth Corps Program Team.

Program Officer for Volunteer Initiatives / $62k-$73k / HYBRID in Boston
The Program Officer for Volunteer Initiatives is responsible for efforts and initiatives that increase the engagement of volunteers and the impact of their efforts in the Commonwealth. This program officer supports the implementation of MSA’s Volunteer Generation Fund (VGF) grant to: develop and strengthen relationships with volunteer connector organizations across the state, support grants to increase service opportunity and capacity at nonprofits, build the capacity of organizations to better engage volunteers through training and resource creation, and promote and market service and volunteerism in Massachusetts. For the VGF grant, the Program Officer for Volunteer Initiatives is responsible for program reporting/tracking, outcome measurements, and the coordination and implementation of deliverables.
