Youth Career Pathways Initiative Grant

We are thrilled to announce our new Youth Career Pathways Initiative, supported by AmeriCorps’ Volunteer Generation Fund.

  • WHAT: 15 matching grants up to $15,000 to better engage volunteers in youth career development programming/support OR engage youth in skill-building/career development service by creating, expanding and/or replicating promising models
  • WHO: Nonprofits and Volunteer Connector Organizations (including agencies)
  • WHEN: Applications are due Monday, November 6, 2023; funding runs from January 2024–August 2024

Connect Science: Service-Learning Training Program

We are excited to announce our new Connect Science: Service-Learning Training Program! Join us to learn about Connect Science: a research-based science unit that integrates social emotional learning, science, and service-learning.  

  • WHAT: Training, materials, and support for a program aligned with 4th grade MA Science and Technology Standards. Participants will receive an evidence-based service-learning/social emotional/science unit of study with all the materials to implement with students. 
  • WHO: Any school district or out-of-school time program
  • WHEN:
  • Thurs, November 30, 2023 & Friday, December 1, 2023
  • Thursday, December 14, 2023 & Friday, December 15, 2023
  • Follow up virtual sessions determined by participants
  • WHERE: Massachusetts Service Alliance, 98 N. Washington Street, Suite 400 Boston, MA 02114
