AmeriCorps Competitive Grants Reviewers: Deadline Extended to Tuesday, September 5th!

As part of our commitment to an accessible and inclusive grant making process, the Massachusetts Service Alliance is looking for community grant reviewers from a diverse range of backgrounds and perspectives for our 2024 AmeriCorps competitive grants process. Community grant reviewers play an important role in identifying and prioritizing critical community needs across the Commonwealth. Their feedback also helps local organizations strengthen and focus their applications ahead of submission to a highly competitive federal selection process.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AmeriCorps programming in Massachusetts. You will have a critical voice in determining which organizations receive AmeriCorps grants. In addition, you will also gain:

  • experience in grant writing and nonprofit programming
  • the opportunity to engage with a diverse network of Massachusetts reviewers
  • knowledge about new communities and needs across the state
  • a $50 Amazon gift card at the completion of the grant review process in appreciation for your time and contribution

Grant reviewers will need to watch a brief training, review applications the week of September 11th (which will take around 2-3 hours), and attend a live, virtual discussion session from 4:00-5:20 on Tuesday, September 19th.
