MSA has some exciting news: new Commonwealth Corps staff and a new Commonwealth Corps newsletter. Read more below!
Read the most recent edition of our Commonwealth Corps newsletter, just released last week! This edition features meaningful member highlights and program features from across the state.
Victoria Tucker is MSA’s newest Commonwealth Corps Program Manager, joining us in late 2023.
She is a lifelong learner. Before beginning her nonprofit career she was an educator in the Lowell and Everett public schools. Victoria has a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion and is excited to strengthen communities and address critical needs through the Commonwealth Corps program. Prior to joining MSA, Victoria also managed Commonwealth Corps members at Kids in Tech!
Fun fact: “I have a 10 month old puppy, Lucy, and a turtle (age unknown), Mitchell.”
Gayoon (Sally) Kim is MSA’s newest staff member, filling our Associate Commonwealth Corps Program Manager role.
Prior to joining MSA, Sally worked to offer non-traditional learning opportunities in higher education. Sally received her BA in International Relations with a double minor in Korean and Public Relations from Boston University, and is working on an MA in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Leadership at Tufts University.
Fun fact: “I’m ambidextrous!”
Finally — a reminder that our call for presenters at the biannual Massachusetts Conference on Volunteerism, hosted on May 7th at the DCU Center, is due next week on February 29th, 2024! Read the RFP here.
